Bread - Pain au Lait

This is a French style milk bread, popular as a tea time snack. We think they make an excellent breakfast...midnight snack...any time really. They are similar to brioche but with a bit less butter. The tops are finished with egg wash and pearl sugar. Each is very sizable, 4" diameter and almost 4" tall, almost a mini-loaf.
