Shop the hub
Unlike a CSA or a subscription service, there's no fee to order and no obligation to order each week. You shop for what you want like you would at the grocery store, only our items are entirely local.
Order online, then pick up or choose delivery. We make local food easier to access, week after week.
Ordering is easy
Each week our online marketplace opens on Thursday for ordering. Our selection changes each week with what's in-season and available from our producers.
What You'll Find in the hub
The Hub brings together a wide range of local food in one place. Available products change with the seasons and producer availability.
See if we deliver to you
Delivery is available for customers who prefer not to pick up in person.
You can select delivery at checkout if it is available in your area. Delivery details and fees will be shown before you complete your order.
How our pricing works
Producers set their own prices in the Hub.
At checkout, you will see producer prices listed as set by the producer, along with a separate Hub Service Fee.
The service fee supports the people, space, and systems required to operate a reliable, year-round local food marketplace, including coordination, technology, and fulfillment.
If you'd like to learn more about how pricing works, you can visit our Transparency page.
What's in the hub on substack
We publish a weekly "What's in the Hub" feature with:
- A look at what's available that week
- Featured producers
- Seasonal recipes and cooking ideas
You can find all of these updates on our Substack.
How Your Purchase Works
When you shop through the Hub, you're buying directly from local farmers and producers. Here's what that means:
You're Supporting the Farm Directly
Every purchase you make is a direct transaction between you and the producer who grew or made your food. The Hub facilitates this connection, but the sale is between you and the farm.
Your Dollars Stay Local
When you buy from Hub producers, you're supporting working farms and food businesses right here in your community. Studies show that when you buy local, significantly more of your money stays in our community compared to shopping at conventional grocery stores.
You Know Where Your Food Comes From
Every product on the Hub comes from a farm or producer within 100 miles of Huntsville. You can read about each farm, learn about their practices, and feel confident about what you're feeding your family.
