Our farm fresh eggs are laid by our pasture-raised hens right here in the heart of Huntsville. Our girls enjoy a natural diet of grass and bugs with a supplemental non-GMO feed. Their mobile home is a large, open air chicken tractor that is moved onto fresh pasture every morning and eggs are hand-gathered daily. Our hens lay consistently sized, large brown eggs, with vibrant yellow yolks that are packed with nutrients. Our chickens serve more than one purpose on our farm. In addition to providing fresh eggs, they play an important role in our regenerative practices. As they move across the pasture, they naturally fertilize the soil, helping grow healthy grass for our livestock. Their scratching breaks up manure and soil surfaces, distributing nutrients, reducing pest pressure, and accelerating decomposition—all of which supports stronger microbial life in the soil.
