Syrup - Fig Leaf

If you've ever been around a fig tree, you know the smell is absolutely amazing. The leaves have the full fragrance of these magical fruits. We toast these leaves in the oven, then steep them in a sugar/honey syrup until all that fragrance infuses the liquid. The flavor profile is coconut, vanilla, and almond.

Use fig leaf syrup to sweeten beverages, flavor desserts, and create glazes.
